Not sure how you're using the word there... Did the references seem gratuitous? I tried to sneak them in within context of JC's therapy. So, they called attention to themselves. Huh. I wonder if most people would wonder.
I now begin the task of A) getting the TTAE non-Stack site (www.thettruthabouteverything.com) into order (a huge task), preparing Book 2 for self-publishing (like Book 1 Reservation Point on Amazon) and starting on Book 3. Oh, and three weeks until I hit the road!
Without knowing that it was foreshadowing or laying a foundation, the repeated historical slavery connections of various people and places seemed a tad excessive and out of place, but that is how I feel when I see them in museums nowadays as it always seems forced. I'm a bit Archie Bunker and on the older side, so I may be an outlier.
I'm looking forward to the reports from the road as a study of modern America.
Yup! A bit prematurely but... I've moved the redirect www.thetruthabouteverything.com to a new Wix site. All previous posts are there, and the new ones will be.
As the old joke goes, other than that how was the play Mrs. Lincoln? What did you think of the last chapter and OK the book?
For now, making new post featured so it's top of the non-Stack stack. Check it out now.
There's a LOT of work to be done, both fixing imports, tweaking design and more. The home page will have a blog roll - most recent post first - and a featured post.
So Kilroy was BIPOC? I missed that fact. All the seemingly gratuitous slavery references that kept popping up finally make sense.

Liked it. Your writing style keeps the reader’s attention.
However the new site has some much older postings leading off, the newer posts I can’t find.
